Paper Holiday Wreath

We know 2020 has brought A LOT of change. So we thought, why not change up our wreath game this year?! We know this tutorial might look complicated, but we promise it’s super straightforward, and sure to brighten your space.

So download and print the template, gather your materials, and start making some holiday cheer!

Here’s what you’ll need:

– Printed template (2 pages)
– Gift wrap (You’ll need about 2 sheets of March Gift Wrap)
– Thicker cardstock or cardboard (for the wreath base)
– Scissors or X-Acto + Ruler
– Glue stick


How to make it:

1. Use the shape from the first page of the template to make your wreath base. You’ll need four of these quarters to make the wreath shape.

2. Tape the 4 quarters of your wreath together. This doesn’t have to be pretty. It’ll get covered up in the next steps.

3. Use the template on page two to cut out 120 strips of the gift wrap of your choice. We promise, it’ll be worth it!

4. Make your paper strips into teardrop-shaped loops and glue together at the ends.

5. Start assembling your wreath! Glue down your loops in lines of three, very slightly fanning out to give wreath a fuller look.

6. Keep adding loops to the wreath base. You should use about 30 loops per quarter of your wreath (aka, 10 rows of 3 per quarter).
